SKI KEY SYSTEMS LTD was established in 1989 by founder Jacques Beaudoin, who also invented the locking system still used today. Living near Whistler-Blackcomb Resorts in British Columbia, Jacques’ idea quickly spread throughout the local market. Within a few years, it became the locking system of choice across Canada and today dominates the Canadian market with nearly 100% penetration.

To meet the growing demand from ski resorts in the United States, SKI KEY AMERICA LLC was formed in 2009. Operating from its U.S. office in Red Hook, New York, SKI KEY AMERICA has expanded rapidly, with more than 100 resorts now using the SKI KEY SYSTEM. Our plans include continued expansion throughout the USA so that all resorts can offer the SKI KEY SYSTEM to consumers.
